October Supper Clubs

September Recap, Our Big Night alla Giudaia + the Daffodil Projects Flowerland Event
October Supper Clubs

September was a big month for the supper club: Behind the scenes, we finalized our nonprofit incorporation with the State of California and moved one step closer to 501(c)(7) social club status.

We also opened our first nonprofit bank account at U.S. Bank — a big milestone for tracking funds transparently and keeping the club sustainable.

Membership continues to grow through Substack, and we’ve fully transitioned to using Luma for RSVPs and Stripe for payments, keeping everything organized and fair.

This month, we’re bringing back some good energy from our very first dinner in Fairfax.

This one’s a return to roots — a “Big Night” in Fairfax, celebrating the community spirit that makes supper club special.

Sunday, October 19

5:00–9:00 PM

Fairfax, California

Attendance will be limited to 30 guests, making this one smaller, more intimate, and a bit more exclusive than usual. RSVPs are already open — the event is listed on our luma calendar.

And if you’re in the East Bay the following weekend, don’t miss Natchez Lee’s “Daffodil Projects” dinner at Flowerland on October 26 — a night of modern vegan Southern comfort food exploring migration, memory, and the movement of ingredients and people in and out of the American South.

Born and raised in Berkeley, Natchez now leads Daffodil Projects as a way of connecting their family’s roots in Tennessee with their own story as a California cook. Their work blends Southern technique with global influences, and this upcoming dinner at Flowerland promises to be something special.
