Before this menu makes its way onto tables at Urban Adamah, I wanted to share it with you first. We’re really excited about this event. It feels both like the beginning of a new chapter and a bit like a victory lap after finding our groove in 2025.
This Hanukkah menu is built around transformation. Hanukkah is about oil, warmth, and care, about taking simple, seasonal ingredients and giving them time and attention until they become something sustaining and celebratory. There’s a strong Sephardi backbone, moments of Japanese influence, and a lot of delicious dishes that show reverence for seasonality and our usual Californian flair.
Here’s what we’re planning on serving Sunday, 12/21:
